Amabrush is a toothbrush, that can clean all your teeth in 10 seconds, with the motor doing all the work. The toothbrush consists of an antibacterial-silicone mouthpiece with multiple rows of angled soft bristles, which are clamped between teeth. Activated motor causes the bristles to vibrate at a variety of frequencies, pumping into your mouth a precise amount of toothpaste via built-in micro-channels from a capsule loaded into that unit. After 10 seconds you are done, you just take out the mouthpiece, rinse it off and put it away. The motor unit attaches to the mouthpiece, and one unit can be used with several peoples’ mouthpieces. Cleaning with a regular toothbrush lasts longer than 10 seconds, but the toothbrush isn’t brushing all the teeth at once.
The mouthpiece should be replaced every three to six months – replacements will cost about €6, and unfortunately it is not custom-molded to each user. The motor unit is charged wirelessly, lasting for one month of use. This project is successfully funded on Indiegogo and you can see a promo video below.
